1. Pink and Red Crocheted Hearts

Use this free crochet pattern for a lovely Valentine's gift or decoration. This is a great pattern for a beginner or intermediate crocheter. This pattern calls for a light worsted weight yarn.
SIZE
Small heart measures about 3 1/2 inches tall and about 3 1/2 inches across; larger heart is about 4 inches tall and 4 inches across.

Materials:
  • 1 skein DK or light (no. 3) worsted weight yarn (shown here, Patons Grace, 100% mercerized cotton (1.75 oz/ 50 g, 136 yds/125 m per skein))
  • Crochet hook size E/4/3.50 mm


2. The Love Nest



Yarn – Double knitting oddments in tweedy brown, red and dark brown for the robins and a selection of 3 browns /beiges /greens for the nest
Hooks – 3 mm (C/D) and 5.5 mm (I).
Notions – toy stuffing.
